I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Mechelle. My husband and I have been married for 2 yrs now and are just barely starting the Adjustment of Status proces, we are very sceptic about it. We have 2 girls, 8ys and 18 months. We have heard bad stories, never any with happy endings. But I am sure it has alot to do with every case being differnt. Well any insighton what we need to be prepared on will be very helpful to me. Thanks so much in advance.

Welcome Michelle,
If you are pursuing adjustment of status, I take it your husband entered the U.S. legally with a visa at some point? Don't take that the wrong way, we've just had a number of people lately who had pursued adjustment of status when they were not eligible (because the spouse entered the US illegally - EWI), and that's not a good scenario. Anyway, whatever your situation is, we've probably seen it before, and we're here to help.
Welcome!!!

Oooops.. sorry.. maybe I used the wrong words.. Not adjustment of status.... Sorry.. Im still pretty new to this process.. he entered Illegally as well... But from what my LAwyer says.... she says we are good candidtaes for the Pilot program.. Everything is squared away, so all we need to do is fill out and turn in our first applicationm. We havent even done that. Wow, its soo expensive, and with me in School at nioght, and our kids. Wow.. its taking us by surprise. But thanks to all you that have made me feel welcomed. Feels nice to know some women that are basically going through the same thing, you know. I feel so alone, since none of my friends can even relate to this.
Like I said, thanks again for all the nice comments. Adnif you guys can give me some insight on what to look for or what to watch our for, feel free.. I am all ears.
We should be submitting his paper work hopefully at the end of September. And then from there I dunno what.? IS it justa waiting game... Do we wait to here from CDJ? When it is time for him to go to his interview, I might be able to go with him, (Hopefully) dont know how long I will be able to stay there though. And I dont know how lomg he will be there for.. (scary)

Ms_Delacruz, it's mostly just waiting once your I-130 is submitted. You wait for that to be approved and then you wait to fill out more paperwork and send more money, and then you wait for NVC to complete your case and send it off to CDJ, and then you wait for about a year for an appointment in CDJ! Wooo...
Good luck!
At least during all that waiting you'll have us all to keep you company and answer your questions!
I hope things move quickly for you!
Oh, and welcome to I2US!
