I have a friend that was cought shoplifting at a store and now she wants to become a USC do you guys think this will affect her???
any comments will be greatly appreciated.

It may, depending on how long ago it was. She will have to disclose it on her application regardless.

She should consult with a qualified immigration lawyer before she proceeds with the application.
