I am sooooooo frustrated right now I just dont know what to do.. The attorney I was using sent in the wrong amount for the processing fee.. The NVC sent it back in January.. I have been waiting for a new bill so I can sumit the correct amount.. I called the first time and the woman said she cant give me information on the case.. I called agian and the woman said she would send it for me.. I waited 2 weeks no bill... I called agian the woman said no it wasnt sent and she will send it.. I waited 2 weeks no bill... I called agian the woman said she will send it and couldnt print it out so she would give it to her manager to send.. its almost 2 weeks and no bill... talk about passing the buck.. oh did I sent 2 emails as well and no reply.. I am not sure if I should call or wait longer... 3 months is a long time to wait for a stupid bill.. Any advise on what I should do? Thanks

Why don't you go online and try their online payment system. I understand this works great and will generate the bill for you and you can pay it directly which saves a lot of time.

Lauren: Assuming that there are no problems with your DS-230 or any of your other paperwork, 2 weeks if about normal for your case to be complete after they receive your DS-230. I called every single day for updates.

Here is the link. However, I understand that you will have to call the NVC and ask them for your Invoice Identification Number. Don't take no for an answer. If they say they can't give it to you, hang up and call back and talk to a different person. I have heard from other posts that this happens sometimes. Good luck.

What state are u in? I'am in Texas and I submited an I -130 back in July 07" and it was approved until feb 08' it took about 7 months for an approval, and my case it's not even complete yet, I just sent my affidavit support fee and application fee on the 9th of this month I wonder why yours took less. Are you going through consular process, I mean are u going to CJ for interview?

Jsierra is correct. I used the shortcuts; sent everything overnight. It was well worth the extra money to get my paperwork there immediately the next day instead of waiting for the paperwork to arrive pony express.
I was prepared, made sure there were no open or unanswered blanks, etc.

I did call the NVC and asked for the invoice id # and they told me that you cant pay online... I asked them if the bill has been sent yet and she tried to print it agian but it came up with a system error.. She talked to a manager and was putting in a report and for me to call in 10 to 15 days.. I am frustrated because that is what the 3 people before her said to do and I have been waiting for this bill for 3 months..
