Going to a server.

We are moving to a virtual private server in the next few days. We shouldn't notice anything and there shouldn't be down time.

It's not exactly the same as a dedicated server but this should meet our needs for the database connections.

Just wanted to let you guys know.

The move will take place in the next 12-24 hours. I will tell you this, you will have to upload your avatars (my tests have shown they don't show up right). I will be backing up the database frequently and hope the post lost will be minimal.

There is a portal on the server so http://www.immigrate2us.net will take you to a portal like before.

Ok guys I am going to try to move everything over to the ip address so instead of seeing immigrate2us.net, you will see an ip address until they reroute the domain.

If you are on the site, just reload http://immigrate2us.net and you should be at the server : )

I thought this would be the best way to ensure no post loss.
