MJ got baptized!

My daughter got baptized on Sunday and here are the pictures :)

Congratulations!!! Maybe it is because I grew up in a small town in Kentucky but I had never seen anyone get baptized in a pool. Most of the churches in Kentucky baptize you in the creek while some have a VERY small inside pool. Most churches where I grew up do not believe in inside baptisms. I believe it doesn't matter where it happens. I love to see and experience new things.

My best friend was baptised in a pool. Mr. G and I were both baptized in Juarez in a horse trough!

I got baptized in a baptismal in the sanctuary of the church I was going to (I was also baptized as a child in the catholic church).

China: we're Christian, we go to a Foursquare church.

We don't have a baptismal in the sanctuary and I'd be too afraid to go to the Arkansas river to do it, who know what color you'd come out :bounce: (not to mention it's actually pretty dangerous around here)

This was a pool at the salvation army boys and girl's club.

Glu: no that's the youth pastor and the other guy is our pastor.

Marie, your daughter is beautiful. Looks a lot like me about 45 years ago with that red hair and freckles. She could easily pass as my twin.
