Prepare For Ice Raids: "know Your Rights" Video

In light of widespread predawn raids as part of Operation Return to Sender, the Coalition for Human Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA) prepared an informational video on how to prepare for an ICE raid.


The video plays out different scenarios in which undocumented immigrants commonly come into contact with ICE or local law enforcement, including workplace and home raids, as well as routine traffic stops. In the clip, you see people reacting in ways that can reduce their risk of being deported, and you see people reacting in ways that greatly increase that risk.

Thanks!! I printed it for my inlaws!! And made them cards with our lawyers #! I made one for hubby too.... who I just about strangled, when he said, its okay Ive told the cops I was illegal before and they didnt do anything...... that was before MO gave cops the power to deport!! Grr I told him to keep his mouth shut next time! (praying there never is one!!!)

This video is really important even for people who do have papers. I don't even think USCs know exactly what they are obligated to say or do with the cops (and my bro is studying to be a cop!).
