It has been super hot up here, too. I'm sure it is nothing like south Georgia, though! Today was the first day that we had some relief. Its sad to see the brown grass and leaves dying already.

It's the humidity here that will get you. We had all of the air conditioners, ceiling fans, and box fans on this weekend and finally abandoned ship and headed to the mall. My house is over 100 years old, so it's not built for air conditioning. Now that my shade tree is gone, we are miserable around 5 p.m. I was outside watering the plants with the garden hose...then I watered myself...then I watered the plants...then myself.

You should all move to the Pacific Northwest. Nice 70 - 75 degree weather with a cool breeze.

I am from Maryland and moved to Texas last year from Mexico. We lived in the mountains there..Xalapa, Veracruz, beautiful and nice cool weather. HERE on the other hand is something I have NEVER experienced. If we have one more day over 100 degrees I am going to dig us a pool in the back yard myself!!!!!!!!!

Sorry can't complain here in Ohio... Yesterday's high was 78 w/ no humidity and sunny.

Today was a little warmer but oh so nice!!!

You know, I'll think about this post sometime around January when I'm huddled by the fireplace shaking my fist at Ol' Man Winter. It doesn't seem that cold here in the winter by the numbers (we might get down to 32 at night), but there again, it's the humidity that gets you.

I think temps have been slightly below normal the past couple days.
But this weekend it was hot. I went to the beach twice.
We live on the coast in northern Mass.
It's so unfair, just when I get used to the nice weather, everything dies and it gets cold again.
I need to move.

Hot in my part of Georgia as well, but you can keep any and all snow elsewhere! After living in Canada I have seen and shovelled enough snow to last me FOREVER!:lol:

Here is Kansas it's been over 100 every single day for the past week! And when we came back our unit is not working as well so they are suppose to be here to install a brand new one this week!!!!! Can you imagine the humidity in the mix grrrrr.....
