Lawyer not needed for immigration proceedings
Q: I have a two-year temporarygreen card that I received after my U.S. citizen husband petitioned forme. If I leave him, will that end my right to get a permanent card? Myhusband is abusing me mentally, but I'm afraid to see a psychiatrist. Idon't want the USCIS to be able to use my mental condition against me.
