Hello all, I am new to this forum and am so glad that something like this exists, and there is so much you can learn from this. Well here is my story I am married, and my husband is going to have to go to India for the waiver process. He came here on a K1 visa but did not marry the girl that applied for him and overstayed. We are now going through this tough process and it just scares me so much. If anyone here has been through Delhi, India please forward me your timeline. Thanks a bunch. Here is my timeline
07/22/08 - Married
09/2008 - Applied for I130
01/03/08 - NOA 1 recieved
01/03/08 - Applied for K3
01/13/08 - NOA recived
Now am just waiting :waiting:

my husband went through Dehli our time line is as follows
7.13.07 submitted waiver in Mumbai
8.3.07 waiver reached new dehli
2.15.08 recieved approval letter from dehli
2.28.08 husband is home!!!!
It took almost exaclty six months to get the waiver approved once it hit Dehli. There were a couple other people that got an approval through Dehli on this website and it also took them a little over six months. I have heard that it is hard to get an approval from dehli. there are three people including us that got an approval from dehli recently. My husband was on a C1D (crewman visa). I posted our hardship letter on this site. let me know if you have any questions.
Hi India601,
Can you pl tell me which lawyers help you took for filing waiver. I need to file for my husband's waiver in new delhi.
Thanks,
shannon
