I first heard that somebody called authorities because they thought him to be strange, for some reason, then the authorities questioned him and when he gave a response in English that raised up a red flag. When I heard it on Fox News the they never said that the authorities had first been called. The other newscaster asked if it calls attention if you don't "speak Mexican." I thought that was stupid, it should've been "speak Spanish or speak the (Spanish or Mexican language) native to the area he in which he was found.
jajajaja Would it call attention if somebody in the U.S. doesn't speak "American?" How stupid can Fox be?

Let me retract my previous statement. It might've been said that the authorities themselves noticed him as looking strange rather than the residents. At any rate, it was humorous to listen to those two hens on Fox News reporting it. I'll wait and listen to Gerraldo talk about it this weekend.

He won't receive the death penalty upon return to U.S. because Mexico had abolished it and that is the condition for his future release.

That is the only reason why Mexico will extradite him to NC, but he'll receive life in prison.

I thought the Mexican police had him in custody weeks ago, but the US was just negotiating the terms of his extradiction (spelling?)? I thought I read someone else that Mexican police had caught him, hmmmm strange. I'll have to look at the old news articles about this. Maybe it was for another person??
