A friend of mine applied the EAD only, does she get a biometrics appt. as well?

A friend of mine applied for her EAD 4 weeks ago and 2 weeks ago she got a letter saying that her case was pending.

Will she have to go to a biometrics appointment as well, or is that only for ppl who file for the AOS packet (I-485)?

When do you think she will be getting her EAD?

Ok, she just e-mailed me back, this is what she wants to know:

"no I didn't file AOS.. Cos in my requirements they mentioned they don't want finger prints.. I went for this a 18 request.. so no finger prints.. I sent my photo along with my application & also my signature with all other documents they required.. It will be great help to me if U help me in any way with regards to my case.."

I believe that she is exempt from that then!!! I would be able to better inform her, once I know what is her process under??? Labor cert,h1,h2???j?

She says she has "L2... Spouse of intra company transfer(L1) visa.."

I do not know about L2, but my husband applied for EAD with K3.He had to go to a bio appt. They did fingerprints, just not all ten. Later, we applied for AOS, and had another bio appt. where they did all ten fingers. Lynn
