Nothing you can do but wait. They are processing sept 07 right now. Different service centers will have different processing times. Vermont is also showing Sept 07 so I don't know why hers got approved but it does happen.

I know it's nerve racking but it takes time. Hang in there

Hey,

Mine was rec. at CSC at the end of November, and we didn't get approved until 2 weeks ago. Our application was only touched once before the approval, and that was at the end of December. They were probably just putting our file in storage then. I wouldn't go by what USCIS posts for the processing times, but I would give it at least four full months. I wouldn't get worried until about mid-May if I were you. If you are approved sooner, I think that it would just be luck.

Also, CSC tends to hang onto their approved petitions, some people on Visa Journey reported them waiting like 2 or 3 weeks before CSC sent the file to the NVC. Vermont usually sends the petitions off right away to the NVC. Also, the NVC is in New Hamp., with Vermont being much closer than CA. (Shaving maybe a day off the transit time.) So yes, overall CSC takes quite a bit longer. On Visa Journey, I just began ignoring the Vermont posts because many were so ahead it just wasn't accurate to compare CSC with VSC.

I know it's a pain to wait out this stuff, but there's not much you can do. My fiance went back home to MX, so I'm hoping we can get this appointment done too!

Thanks Gatita. I would be thrilled if we got something mid-May!! One question...My SO was caught in Arizona when crossing and "thrown back". Now, the more we talk about it and I keep asking, are you sure you didnt get deported? He says he was put in holding, fingerprinted and picture taken but didnt spend the night or go to court. I just want to get an FBI check with his prints to be sure, I am not sure how..Any suggestions? I will repeat this post in the 601 also. Thanks Everyone!

Mayita....my case was never updated on the USCIS website after my NOA1 and a couple touches. I had been checking everyday like you but one day when I opened the mailbox the approval was there. I checked several times after and it never was updated as approved. We went through VSC.
