TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- State lawmakers plan to discuss a series of bills to crack down on illegal immigration.
The bills are scheduled to be talked about Tuesday afternoon in the House State Affairs Committee, but the panel will vote on the bills at a later date.
One measure would require law enforcement agencies that arrest illegal immigrants to report them to federal authorities. Another would direct public employers to check on the citizenship of new hire.
