OK, so I have posted this a few times before but never had anyone say they went through the same thing. I thought I'd repost it so maybe we have new members who might be able to help me or give me more info....
Has anyone here gotten a Intent to Deny after their 485 interview? If so, how long did it take USCIS to make a decision once you replied to the intent to deny?
My lawyer has been with us from the beginning. We responded to the Intent to Deny on November 2007. It's been almost 5 months and nothing yet. My EAD was renewed last month. But the stress is just overwhelming. We were hoping to finally go on a cruise this summer.....one of DH's best friends is almost getting married overseas in July but DH won't go since I can't go w/o the GC. :(
My story is long but if interested, check out my previous threads for more details. Basically my EX hubby told USCIS that I married him for papers AFTER I filed for divorce. USCIS never told me that. I re-married. 2nd DH and I went in for our interview....6 months after my interview with the 2nd DH...USCIS sends me a intent to deny charging me with marraige fraud with my FIRST marriage b/c my EX told them that I cheated on him and admitted to him that I married him for papers.
They're not doubting my current marriage. Heck the intent to deny even states that my current DH adn I seem to be in love!
