Here is my tulip bed!

There are bare spots where I'm going to fill it with other things. I tried the winter sowing but didn't have much luck..which completely sucks. I'm still trying to get them to sprout though. I think they got too much water when it rained heavily for days.

The daffodils are coming up too in the front.

Anyways!

They are sooooo pretty !!! You are lucky Marie!!!

One weeks ago we had big snow in Michigan and today was nice sunshine and I saw my pretty clematis has few green leaves starting. It's blooming in August and I will make a pictures. It's big and looks like tree but it's all white. You can't even see green leaves. I love flowers...

Lovely! I love tulips, too. Don't you wish they would stay in bloom longer?

Yeah I do! 2 of them have already hit the dirt so the speak. They have been blooming for about 2 weeks I think.

I bought some that would specifically bloom late and they are barely out of the ground so hopefully I'll have tulips of some sort for a while.

Oh, they look so pretty! I'm so exited about spring. The strawberry plants Mr. G planted in our backyard during the fall are starting to come up and I'm getting exited.

Eventually I want to make tulip borders on the walkway from the street to our front door.....

Tulips are my favorite flower. I love white tulips and callalilies (spell?)

These are very pretty. I want to plant some in front of my house but am I too late? Hubby used to work in landscaping and he knows how to plant them but he keeps promising that he will do it. We'll see when it is that he will get to it.

Claudie, someone asked that on a garden forum I go to. This is what they say: you can plant them now but they say they won't sprout until next year. They need a chill period before sprouting.

If you find some for a good deal, why not right? I'd be afraid they would sprout but then again, once planted, you are good to go for a few years anyways. I never have to replant them. I planted about 80 and let me tell you, it was a CHORE. I thought the hard part was over after I tilled all that by hand...yeah right.

Marie, thanks for sharing! No tulips up here yet, just getting started... The crocuses and snowdrops are blooming, so we get to see a little color!
