Hello everyone
I recently went for my CR1 interview and was found ineligible for a visa. This was not new to me because i accrued unlawful presence in the US after my assylum was denied and i was ordered to be removed, so i had my waiver packet ready . To my surprise the consulate officer asked additional docs concerning my marriage and docs concerning my deportation.
I went back and drop all the docs that they asked for and i was told that they will contact me back .
I'm a little bit confused because reading others people experience , it seems like you can either drop your waiver packet the same day or come back a week later . Something else i'm not sure of is that they ask me for additional proof concerning my marriage even though my I 130 was approved way before i was detained and removed from the US .
Did anyone experience such thing . I'm really anxious because i have with severe medical conditions which even led her discharge from the US army while she was in Basic training and for her to cop with all these by herself is hard and there is no way for her to come back and live with since we experience here power outage everyday for at least 10 hours and i'm not working .
Hope tohear from anyone
