***?! Sorry, but I cant believe it! Do you have a copy of everything? Listen, I heard that is better if the petitioner (you) goes with the beneficiary to the embassy in Lima, so make sure you go!!! Maybe they feel bad they made such a big mistake and they approve it right away.

keep positive girl!!!

WOW, I am very sorry to hear that.
Is it possible for you to get it in writing ( that they lost paperwork)? You can come up with the excuse like : you need it for your work so they can give you papers or something like that.
If you will have it in writing- that would be your bargaining chip.
I am just trying to find positive in negative.

It is totally inexcusable.

Our papers were just laying on someone’s chair in the Newark’s office of INS for 1 year until we got congressman involved. The answer INS gave was: oh well, someone misplaced it.
At least your consulate found a mistake and hopefully, like someone have mentioned, they will “slide” your papers now due to their mistake.

Good luck,

:wha: Who lost the waiver ? The consulate or the one's adjuncating the waivers ??
If its' the consulate, why did they wait 3 months before transferring it ?!?!?! :dizzy:

I hope it all works out for the best !!
