Hello everyone, I know my husband needs a police report for his appt, do I need to mailed to NVC or is it for the 1st appt only? I know that it's require. I husband came to US when he has 18 years old, he will need one right? I wasen't sure if NVC will requested or the interview?

Where is your husband from? In what states, country, has he had run-ins with the police?
If he has no criminal record of any kind and is Mexican then no reports are needed.

Perez - I second what Adriane said!
My husband had a couple of tickets for driving with out a license - and we sent certified copies of the court records for those with the DS-230 (though not entirely sure we needed to, our lawyer just requested them) but that it is - no police certificates!!

Well my husband is from Mexico, he had no problem with police, he does not have any problem with police here either, but I was told that he needs to take one to his appt. ? Is that true? He turn 18 when he cross the border.

We didn't have to get one...my hubby had no problems with the police.

In any case, you can't get and don't need a police certificate for Mexico (as you do for other countries). If he had a criminal record you would need records from wherever it happened but you don't need anything if he doesn't have a record.
