I suggest that you take all your copies that you send to NVC. Relax because if you stress out you might forget something. Grab a piece of paper and write everything down and as you pack check it off from your list.

Good Luck,

If you are not ready to be in Vienna on that day – you can ask them to re-schedule your interview. You can find a nice reason ( like for example can not buy tickets, can not leave your job…)

As for the papers- what visa are you applying for?
In any case, you will have to bring copies of W-2 for last 3 years ( make sure that you file 2006 one and bring a copy), financial papers ( like affidavit,…..).

I am assuming that you will be applying for the waiver – then take all package ( do not forget just in the case make copies of everything and keep it with you).

Good luck!

Try not to stress. I know it's hard but my advice is if you have your HSL you can put here and some people will review and try to make stronger your HSL. Good you have a lawyer, she will take care of the rest of papers. Do you know for sure you waiver is going to Vienna? Maybe Frankfurt? I was afraid more of Frankfurt but I am glad my waiver did go to Frankfurt.
Very soon your nightmare will be over and you will be happy it's done. When I started the process I didn't know about i2us. You will have support here and later you will help others.
I wish you the best !!!
Big hug !!!

I will post my HSL later on, so you guys can help me create a masterpice!!

I did two times because it was over a year. First in Krakow and later in Warsaw. Consulate will give you a list where you can go. Poznan is on the list too. The medical was very easy for me. I didn't have any shots because I had shots when I left US and they did accept the shots. The doctors are very nice and it was very fast. It took only 10-15 min. for me to talk with the doctor but you need to wait in line maybe 30-45 min. You have to pick the envelope later and you can't open. RX needs to be done too but you will have addresses where you can go. Medical was really the easy part. It cost around 250 zloty but I am not sure if I am correct about the price. It's done fast but you have will the phone numbers to make the appoitment first. Waiting time is just few days. I don't think I have the phone numbers but I will check. I think I throw away. Every time I did go to consulate it was long line but my husband was with me and when he shows his US passport we didn't wait in line. You will need police report from Department of Justice in Poland. I have the address in front of me. Have you done this?
