Ok, he came back at around 12. He is eligible for the waiver!!!!!!!!!!! Now I need you to help me put together one good hsl!! I'm so excited!!!! He has his waiver appoitment for April 7th at 12. We're leaving to Zacatecas and he will return Sunday for the wiaver to be submitted!!!

DavilaFamily..I can't help but notice what you wrote..oh and congrats..your first appt. is over with one down one to go..you said need help putting together your HSL..do you have your packet ready..for him to take..and are you going with him..??? just wondering..???

I don't mean to be the one ruining your happiness.. but you did say he had put the multiple EWI on the forms and even if he didn't they might likely still find out.. just don't get your hopes up that's all.. but congrats

DavilaFamily, did disclose his mutiple EWIs combined with his 1 year presence? We had a similar case and were not eligible for the waiver for 10 years. Not trying to crush your feelings in any way, I am just curious if maybe they are looking at the cases differently now, or could be excluding the presence before age 18 again.

Actually, if you look at her signature, her husband only accumulated the 1 year of illegal presence 1 time....which was the last time he ewi'd. In a previous post she mentioned that their attorney put 5/04 instead of 2/04 for one of the ewi's, which would have brought that one to less than 6 months.

I'm actually kind of surprised cdj hasn't realized all the times he's come and gone, but it looks like it's going to work out great for you guys. Congratulations, and good luck on the 7th!!
