Good Morning,

I have called to CDJ to verify of everything that I need to take and everytime I call they tell me different stories. The lady this morning mentioned that I needed to take a form BS 230? Does anyone know what this form is and where I get it ? I am really nervous and want to make sure we have everything so he can come home that same day.

I believe it is a DS 230. If I remember correctly you need to fill out a new one once you have passed the year mark.

i wonder the same thing. what is a ds230? you mention a year mark, but year mark for what?

THis is the visa application. You submitted it to the NVC already. If you submitted it more than one year ago, then fill out another one. The form is available online, just google DS-230 and you will find it.

You will need to re-submit this form because the part 2 will need to be signed by the intending immigrant in front of the immigration officer. Also, they always want to make sure that you have supplied the most up-to-date info, so they usually require the first part 2.
