i thought 5 de mayo was an american thing...all the mexicans I know do not celebrate it...

My husband has always said how silly we Americans are becuase Mexicans don't celebrate cinco de mayo! According to him it's a Mexican-American holiday, so I would doubt it. However CDJ being a border town you never know.
