MY FIANCE WILL BE GOING TO JUAREZ ON APRIL 8TH -APRIL 11TH.:thumbup:I was seeing if anyone has gone for the i-129f k-1 visa interview and about how much money they took? Any advice will be helpful Thanks!:)

There were a couple other posts about this today...I think someone added it up to around $1700, but that assumed more than a week of hotel/food etc....could be much more or less depending on your circumstances

well we haven't gotten a waiver appointment yet..i have called to juarez 3 times and they told me we cant set up the appointment until he is denied..so he is just going for the first interview and is staying wed-friday..so i was seeing if anyone knows what else needs to be paid besides the medical exam,hotel,taxi, and food!:shy:

This is NOT correct. You need to set up the waiver appointment now so you can possibly go to both within a few days of each other.

How long ago did you call and they told you this?

And what number did you call?

Tiff - I know it's probably really annoying when they tell you they can't schedule it but they really can. Mishu is doing K-1 too, same case, and she already scheduled yours. Once you have the visa interview you could end up waiting a month or more for the waiver appointment.

Okay so i will go ahead and try again tomorrow when i get home from work:wink: do you have an advice in what i should tell them to try to convince them..(I swear it's seems like none of them know what they are talking about.)
