Open Appointment

I called this morning to check if my husband had an appointment set and the officer told me that they had send me a letter on March 25, 2008 stating that he had the open appointment. The thing is that they send it to the wrong address. So he said we can go to window 2 and he can ask for one.
I am just a little worried about that. Has anyone done this before? Does this really work?

My husband wants to leave tomorrow from San Luis and I will meet him in Ciudad Juarez on Wednesday. I am just kind of nervous right know and do not know if we should wait or not? And also what do we need????

Congratulations I'm so happy for you, if they told you that you could go I would but you might what to call the consulate to see if he's in the system yet, if he is I would go to window 2.

I believe thats correct you can go to the Window 2.
I forgot what member did that to get a copy there once they were showing in the system.
