I was wondring if anyone would know what would be considered an emergency to get your waiver looked at faster? Or is there anything like that available?

Expedited Waiver Processing
The Ciudad Juarez USCIS Office may consider the expeditious processing of a waiver in cases where the waiver applicant can show that an extreme medical condition or medical emergency exists or if the applicant’s military spouse is preparing or has already deployed to an overseas post.
Expedited waiver requests should be made to the Consular Officer or to our office using the above address.

I think I have heard Laurel say in a chat that she had someone with cancer get denied an expedite and our attorney tried to get an expedite for a mom USC with 3 kids who was being admitted to an in patient mental health facility and had no one to care for the kids and still did not get the expedite....so it seems VERY tough, but you never know...

I requested an expedite due to my dad being very sick and a month later my I-601 was approved. This was before the pilot program and only four months since I'd submitted it. I think my request did help because at that time they were taking about a year to give a decision on all other waivers. People who submitted the same time as me didnt' hear until months after I did.

That is very encouraging to hear that they responded to your expedite request
