So I decided to check the mail this morning at 6am on the way to work, because I hadn't on Saturday, and lo and behold there was the NOA1. I was starting to do a happy dance when one of the other tenants started giving me weird looks. :bleah:

Anyway, I wanted to congratulate hubby because it means that there's no turning back now and we are well on our way. However, at 6am both he and my son were still asleep and I didn't have the heart to wake them. So I left it in front of the computer with a big sticky note saying congratulations. I think that I will do better now that I know that the I-130 got there safely. Waiting in limbo is hard, but it's even worse when you're wondering if they even received the stupid thing.

Congratulations!!!:yay: I cant wait to get my NOA1. I know that it got there safely cause the just cashed my check on the 28th of this month!

And thanks for the good thoughts everyone. I really just want this to be over, but now that I know for sure that it has been received we can go from here. Now I need to start re-writing my HSL. (Did I tell you that I wrote 3 pages of it and then hubby erased it?!:gaah:)

Congrats on receiving it. You received it really fast! I sent mine on the 8th of this month and they got it on the 10th; still nada, zip, zilch :(

Guess what? Sorry about the hijack, by the way:blush:. I got my NOA1!!! I tried to decipher my case number on the back of the check, but missed it by the last digit.

I can't find my paper right now but i'm in Washington, and i know I sent it to the right Chicago lockbox. They cashed my m/o on the 18th.

They appear to be moving a little slower in the NOA1, but quicker with the NOA2, from what I have seen. Don't worry girl, you're next up. :D
