Hi, for those who were confused about my last thread- This is ACTUALLY my husband's wife. My husband friend post another thread the first time, I dont know why.

But heres the story- He was arrested for domestic violene the 2nd time, ok- so the first case has been vacated the other one will be dimissed when he gets out- they postponded the trial until he gets out.

Now- we just found out that his card was expired during the time he was locked up in the local jail, when he had court for the no contact order it was dimissed and immgrations were just there- they said that he was in their custody.

Hes been in dentention for 2 weeks now. We already hired a lawyer to vacated his files,- it was not a problem. Now we need a laywer to repsent him in Boston- We paid this Laywer John McDonalds whos from Rhode Island. He was supposed to file a motion last Thrusday. He called Saturday saying he wants 10,000 because there was another problem. At first he wanted 2500, so we gave him half. This is crazy- the lawyer said that the problem was with his overstay visa. But he is married to me so its been 3 years since 2005. I dont think we are going to keep McDonalds. On Monday my husband's brother will be going over there to see if the laywer is willing to make a deal. But in the mean time does anyone know where a good laywer will help us from their heart? NOT JUST FOR THE MONEY.
Please HELP!!

Everyone always recommends Laurel Scott. You should giver her a try. Her consulations are 150 bucks and she will tell you if she's able to help you. Good luck.

Ang - welcome! I will add you to the interview thread. You might want to share what you used as your hardships and maybe we can help you to determine if your packet was as strong as possible.

Asarr - I would definitely recommend a consult with Laurel if immigration is your main concern.
