Question for friend

My friend has an appt in CDJ for her parents Visa in April, but someone told her that her little brother (age 16) won't be allowed a visa. Is this correct what can she do??:dunno:
The other question is regards to her father he is getting kidney dialysis, do you think this will be a problem? She asked me to write a letter on her behalf since I am a physician but I'm not sure that is going to help?

What are the parents' situations? Have they ever lived in the U.S. illegally? Who is petitioning them? Can you provide more information about the family's immigration history?

My friend is a USC and lives here in Illinois. Her family have never been here even to visit. Several years back she petitioned for her parents and at that time was told she didn't need to petition her brother because he would automatically be included.
