Yes. Get your divorce decree from the court. They will put a seal on it and certify that it is a true copy of the original.
and the police report how can i get that?, Call the records department of the police department that made the arrest.

Get a passport that is good for as long as possible, I think there is a one year one and a five? year one, get the one that is good for five.

Going to TJ and then flying to CDJ is probably safest bet. There are many low cost mexican carriers, not sure if they fly between those cities, you'll have to check. You could also fly from LA to El Paso, but there are risks. TSA has recently started checking if foreign passports contain visas. If you have a CA drivers license, you will be fine.

Weird thing - just to note -- when my husband recently applied for his passport - he was given the option of 3 or 6 years ...
I thought they were only 5 years as well - but his is clearly for 6 ...

i had 2 children so during the day i don't have time to login, so i read the replies late at night, i really appeciate all the help thanks again....
If your husband is applying for you, you shouldn't need HIS court records. The DS-230 only needs to be filled out for the immigrant. And if you're going through cdj, you don't need police clearances either.
