I know my fiance will need shots or shot record, but will they ask for a complete record of all the shots from birth to current? Just thought we could save some money if he get all his shots up to date.

i dunno about fiances-they don't have to do the medical in cdj the way spouses do, but i'm sure you'll need them eventually. i asked me MIL if she had any record of my husband's shots and she mailed me this whole little official booklet provided by the government that they added a new slip to every time he got a new shot.

He won't require any shots in CDJ. Sometimes they attempt to give them to fiances, he should decline.
When he comes back to the US to AOS, he'll just need the I-693A from the medical here (a list of vaccinations) to go along with the medical from CDJ (it's good for 1 year).

I know that fiances can do the shots when they get here in the U.S., but what is the advantage to having it done here, versus just doing them in Juarez? My fiance does have the little booklet with all the little slips from Mexico, and he redid a lot of shots here becasue he needed them to attend high school in the U.S. I'll have him bring them to Juarez, but I bet that they'll still give him shots. Do any of you know of any money-saving tips re. the shots?
