We have the NOA2 today!

Everyone has been really nice and helpful on this site. I just had to report that we received our NOA2 for our I-129F (fiancé) yesterday. When I checked yesterday, it just said touched. Today I checked and we were touched again, but the website reported the NOA2 as being from yesterday. Hopefully, we can be in Juarez this summer, as we hoped. I need to say thanks to all of you. The members of this site are awesome!

Hi Jenni,

Go to this website: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

(Or just search for "USCIS case status" in Google.)

Create a "customer" account. You need to enter a bit of information and your case number. We filed at California Service Center, and the case numbers there start with WAC####. I'm not sure if I-130s have the same three first letters, but look on your paper NOA1. Your case number is on there. If you don't have the paper NOA1, you can look at your canceled check from your I-130. On the back, is your case number. You can sign up on this website, and then check online to see if anyone has "touched" your file. I have head that the online site is not always accurate, but it's better than nothing. You can also sign up to get emails sent to you, but I never got any emails, and my email never gives me any problems, so not sure what happened there.

I think that this web site only works when your case is initially being processed. I think that once your case is approved at your service center and is sent to the NVC, you need to call the NVC to get updates.

Any people who filed I-130s, is what I wrote above correct?
