Hi everyone! I am so annoyed, my kids got like two baskets each. (I have three kids). What do you do with them? I'm thinking there has to be something creative out there. Or do you simply trash them?

rule #1 eat all candy
#2 get rid of baskets.. i find nothing that i can do with them besides having them in my way for the rest of the year
but if they are cute ones then its another story like if i could decorate part of my bathroom with one then i might.. but i would most likely toss them.. IM such a non-clutter-freak lol

Try giving the away on Craigslist or Freecycle. People always love to get free stuff.

You can make stuff out of them...cut the handles paint them and regift them for chrismas or someone's birthday. (with stuff in them, of course)

I will admit I can be a little bit too much of a saver, but I have recently been on a purging kick. I do save the baskets, but I do not get new ones each year. One reason is to use them for city/park egg hunts the next year, which occur before the easter bunny arrives. I hate wasting them and having to buy new ones, so I just fill the same ones the next year. The kids think it is like stockings!!!. Luckily grandma does small little tin buckets or such instead, which we use for kids storage (pencil jar, hair accessories, crafts items, etc) We were extremely tight this year and I managed to do 2 easter baskets with gifts in them for $7-$8!!!
If you hate the clutter, and know they will be getting more next year I would drop them off at Goodwill
