I need some help to get my nephew here or at least on a bus. If he was to catch a bus from the port in NY he could come direct to chicago and my husband could go and gt him, but he doesn't have a way there. To make a long story short the people he is staying with are his uncles and they are treating him so bad he is ready to turn around and go back to Mexico today! I need to get him to the greyhound tonight and he doesn't know the city at all and doesn't speak English. Do you know anyone or could anyone suggest somebody who could go and get him with trust and make sure he gets on the right bus? I would be willing to pay them.

Hey if I lived in NY..I would..sorry..hope it works out..what part of NY is he in..why can't his uncles put him in a Taxi and send him to the bus station...how far is the bus station from where he is..???

His uncle is mad because he wants to leave and he just got there. They are being so mean to him, example's are talking bad about his dad, sleeping on a kitchen floor, not going to get money we sent to him etc. We treid to send him money but they said that they asked him for a passport (uncle said this) so they wouldn't give him the money so our nephew is there without any money. We just need to get him here and if I change my hubby's ticket (we bought one for May 9th) it is going to cost us 400.00

We tried to get our 14yr nephue to come stay with us over summer break and called grey hound to buy the ticket, they said no they dont let minors ride alone. called Amtrack they said that one of his parents would have to sign a permission slip at the station and he would have to be there a half hour early to do an interview to see if he was able to ride by himself. this was in the same state they lived in Everett and us Vancouver Wa.

Thank you to everyone, this has been a rough road for a pregnant woman to go through. Our nephew has a BIL he hasn't met before who lives in NJ and is going to get him today from NY, I guess. My friend is going to NY and she is going to go get our nephew and bring him to the greyhound station for us. Thanks to everyone this is the best site I could never leave my girls here. I love this board!! I do have a few of your #'s which I will keep just in case. I hope he can get here safe!!
