So i've been feeling super depressed these last couple of days. My friend e-mailed me and said her husband got approved on Tuesday. I'm very happy for her, but it made me even more sad knowing that will not be us some day. My husband will get the 10yr bar if we go to Juarez:sad: I try to forget about all of this and move on, but i can't it's just difficult.

I am sorry you feel down. I don't know your case are you planning on going to MX and waiting out the 10 years or wait for some kind of reform?

Wow Curiel I hope you're in better spirits this morning. My husband has only been gone 1 month and we have already gone down to visit. He has not been denied but placed on back log and I am already planning for the worst. Despite that he has only ewi - 1 x and not probelms with immigration or law. We have already decided that we would move to a border town and live like some of the folks that are on here. But I wish you the best.

Curiel..we are really not sure.We have 3 kids..my oldest is a sophomore in high school so if anything we will try to drag it out as much as we can.My hubby MISSES his family so much and me and my kids are the only family here so he's ready to go home.I know it will be tough should we decide that but it wouldn't be the end of the world.I have had a few deaths in my family recently and it's made him want to see his family even more..and I want him to spend time with him as I am really learning how short that time can be...
Hope your feeling better today;)

My husband misses his family too and who knows when he will be able to see them...its so sad. But we are deciding what to do too...we have not even started the process...
Just like your husband me and my kids is all he has here...
This is all so hard but I am trying to take things one day at a time and praying for the best.

MP..Yes this whole thing just plain sucks.I wish for one day I could turn it off and not think about it,but this is my life and now my attitude is to try to deal with whatever comes. That's why I am looking at all possible options and outcomes...I will be thinking about you and your family...like you said pray for the best..
