Thanks for the plug Brisa! To be CLEAR American Families United does not support or advocate for "Comprehensive Immigration Reform". While we are sympathetic to the overall cause of Immigration Reform, we feel that its obviously the MORAL and right thing to do to FIX FAMILY IMMIGRATION LAW FIRST.

That means that a spouse of a US Citizen gets equal treatment to a "guest worker" in forgiveness for past immigration problems. Most people do not know that "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" does not include US Citizen spouses who are subject to the 3/10 or permanent bars.

American Families United is very active on this issue. We have a full time lobbyist in DC speaking with legislators and we go often to DC ourselves as a large group to speak face-ta-face with our Congressional and Senate Representatives.

For some families the ONLY HOPE of reunification stateside is legislative change. Please continue to spread the word and join as a volunteer so you can get the "inside scoop" on whats going on inside the beltline as well as what you can do personally to create pressure for change.

I totally agree that Family unity is being overlooked. I have joined as a volunteer.
