Hi everyone,
Does anyone have any idea about the timeline to have employers apply for H1B visa for employees?
My brother has been here under F1, international student visa, and he is about to complete school, and about to work on the OPT. The question is that when is the best time for his employer to file a petition for USCIS to grant him an H1B visa? What is the timeline for the whole process?
I heard that employers can start application for their employees from April every year, and then, it will be approved by October. So, what happen to the employees if they can get approved by USCIS before October? Can they work as soon as the H1B visa is granted or have to wait till October?
I appreciate your answers.
