We went to mail the I 130 today, and hubby and I spent WAY to much time in the car today;)...Jeesh he was a big crouch, lol.

So step one we go pick up son from school, and husbands pissed off because I told him to pick him up instead of me.

We get in the car, and head to Carl's Junior. Our son throws the biggest hugest fit in the restaurant over a boxed orange juice he wanted instead of a cup. So he starts punching me, and saying all kinds of mean things to me. EVERYONE'S staring at us like "can't you control your kid" LOL. So what does husband do, lol. He starts screaming at out son to stop acting like a Bendejo (however you spell it). I take son out of the restaurant, and sit his butt outside for 5 minutes while dad eats his food. Meanwhile son's still beating the crap outta me. Finally I told him I was about to take a belt to his hide, and he stopped (I don't ever spank/hit so it was unusual for him to hear me say that). Then we go inside, and son is completely different; like a little angel. To make this even more embarrassing, and the worst experience of my life my husband notices a Mexican man staring at me, and decides to give him mean looks, and eye glares for the rest of our stay; then when we leave he says something in Spanish that I did not understand so i'm thinking it wasn't a good word;)

Then we go get a money order, and I forgot to check and see who I write it out to so hubby gets all snippy with me. At this point I've already had enough:)

Go mail the I 130, and again hubby has a HUGE attitude problem.

Get home and husband acts as if nothing happened, lol

Gosh arent men great:)
But it did get sent and that's most important, right?

Oh wow, I soooo understand how on the day that you are mailing the I-130 your family decides to fall apart. My hubby was snippy all day and my two year old decided to act out as much as possible. But you're right--it's on its way and that's all that matters. Congratulations!

LOL. Sorry your post was hilarious.

I get the drama days too and at the end of the day it cracks me up. I do know that hubby hates with passion when we have to spend the whole day out.

I however need to say that I'm as stubborn as I can be and he better apologize at some point or I won't talk to him for as long as he doesn't try to make up for being a jerk. lol

Hey, we had drama on our I-130 filing day, too. Husband got really cranky for no apparent reason, and made it really hard to finish getting the packet ready. We went to Office Depot to print up, sign, organize, and mail the paperwork. We left the house in such a huff that we forgot my school bag with all the office supplies. He got angry about this, and instead of asking for the supplies we needed at the copy services desk, he insisted on buying them. So we went home with an unnecessary extra pair of scissors, paper clips, pens, etc. because I was not in the mood to force him to swallow his pride and ask the dude at the desk...

Your hubby is most likely very nervous about starting the immigration process finally. If he is like my husband, he cannot simply say "Hey, I'm nervous and here's why_____________." Instead, he just acts really cranky and then several days later the truth finally comes out and you figure out what was going on with him! Men!
