Petitions! Has anyone thought about starting one? I wonder if the government would ever consider a new bill if enough voters across the country where to show support of a bill to allow husbands/wives to adjust status with out leaving the country. If the family member just paid a fine and then were allowed to adjust here. I don't think the general public has any idea that families are being separated for sometime years. I think that there needs to be a way for this to come to light. Everyone I have told my story to has said the same thing "your married, why can't he just get a green card". Somehow we need to show the true face of immigration and not just the stereotypes that the media has been showing. We need a grass-root movement to help our cause.
