Work Rant!

Sorry guys need to vent. I helped clients set up an 80th birthday for their famiy. They paid $2460 for the room $400 for the cake and about $100 for audio/Visual equipment. Now they are being told they have to dress up formal dress. They do not want to. It is a private party in a private room there is no need for them to follow the nightly dinner dress code since they will not be eating in the public dining room. WHY? Now they are trying to make my party (58 people) move to another night. And move the 80 reservations they have on that night to the night that my clients were to dine. They should be able to dress how they want!! ok done ranting.

Well there are two scheduled formal nights, but they only apply to the main dining area and the area that I reserved for the partty for them. Since my guest have that area to themselves and no other guests will be invited into the area they should not have to dress formal. The manager of that area is just being a butt. Guess who gets yelled at by the guest upon their return? Me..... Anyways we will see.

if the people shelled out that much money to rent a room what does it matter if they dress formally or go naked? They could easily go rent a room somewhere else. What a mess.

Still no answer on what they are doing for them. It drives me crazy and today I have a migraine! I am leaving work early today.
