hi everyone. i have been reading and i saw that some people have little kids also. my husband has his waiver apt. march 27 and is in mexico. my son hasnt seen his dad in 2weeks and is behaving badly. i dont know what to do. does anyones kid have real trouble when the parent isnt here. this is really fustrating.
with the i-601, on question 10 it states why the person was denied the visa. there are you just supposed to write what the person at the consulate said? for example my husband was denied cause of sect212 for being here more than a year, but he is a good canidate for the waiver. so is that what i should write? sect 212 for question 10? thanks

I am sorry this is so hard on your son. How old is he? For my kids, although it sometimes takes a couple weeks for them to adjust, they do. They also are very good at picking up on your emotions. I am sure you are anxious and stressed and he might be acting out as a reaction. Give it a little time...and good luck with your waiver appt. Hopefully his daddy will be home soon and everything can get back to normal

my son just turned 3. he loves his dad so much, and i am sad to because he was the only one working. so my son and i are alone, trying to live off of what we have, and still go to school. (preschool, and college.) i hope nothing more that my and everyones wishes come true.
cdj is horrible and they treat people like cattle. i actually got to go inside with my husband, and the people who work there are not very nice. they were shocked when i went in.

Hi neighbor! I live in Wisconsin too!
You can just write "illegal presence" for that question as well, although I'm sure either is fine.
Lots of luck with the hardship letter!

My son stopped eating for a few months! He was almost 1 when we left daddy in Mexico. We visited daddy last month and now, FINALLY, my son has his appetite back.
I wish the best for you and hope your hubby gets approved. If he does not, we'll be here for you and you will get through it. It is amazing what you can cope with when you are forced to.
