Congratulations !!

It is great to hear that so many people are getting through New Delhi.

What were your major hardship arguments? I'm still in the I-130 process but will be going through New Delhi soon.

Thanks

my major hardship was tht my wife had a fiberiod tumour on her uterus and we had doctors letters to approve tht and it was a size of a grapefruit.financial and mental hardship followed as there was no one to take care of the billls and household work and the kids.she would lose the house as she would not be able to work and provide.
just do alot of research on here as u can find alot of ideas.wht r your hardships tht u are gonna file, make sure u have pics tht are relevant, like u and your wife with your kids and her family.have grocery billls ,thgs u guys bought like tv,bed have both your name on the bills,i submitted those.vacations we toook together with the motherin law and fatherlaw.have letters from family and friends, atleast 6 i would say i submitted 5.if u need any specific guidiance let me knw. good luck

Thank you hami2727 for providing your major arguments. I am a long ways away from this process but I am preparing as early as possible.

I wish you and your wife all the best.

My husband just got home last week from Bombay. I suggest you e-mail the consulate and ask them what to do next and letting them know you got the approval letter. The consulate e-mailed us and my husband took that letter to the mumbai consulate to get his visa. His parents said they still have not recieved the official letter. He had to bring my letter from work, our latest tax returns and his visa to the VFS office. Two days later he got his visa and got on a plane to come back to US.

the first time my husband contacted the bombay consulate they said they didn't know about the approval either. It take at least a week.
