does CDJ go by the record the FBI offers them or what? i am concerned about the catch and release my husband has that came back clean record on the FBI.. what if at CDJ it shows to them as a deportation? I now i might bd freaking out too much but this whole thing is stressful :(

If he was fingerprinted at the time he was caught, then he is more than likely in the system, thats my guess.
But if his record is completely clean, then there isnt anything to worry about, i would do more research on it tho, see hwat you can find out on his record. There is a site or a place you can go to to find this info out...im just not sure where, hopefully someone else can tell you! Good luck to the both of you =]

What do you mean by "catch and release"? What happened exactly?

My husband ewi in july 17 2001 and he entered the US, since then he has been here. But in July 16 2001 he was stoped by a border patrol taken in a small room fingerprinted, he gave a fake name and they walked him over the Tijuana border with about 50 others.

CDJ has access to much more than just the FBI records. But what you described is clearly a catch and release so I don't think you have any reason to think it was a deportation.
