Hi-diddly-ho, neighbor-ino,

Well I am not new but I am also not old . I found this forum about a 2 months ago while It was having server problems. I actually met everyone through the Juarez forum prior to coming to this forum. Here is a little about me. Finding that forum was truly life changing because I am convinced if I wouldn't of I would of been put in the backlog for God knows how long. So to all of you I know I've said it before but I will say it again THANK YOU!

My name is Candy and I am 22 years old. I married my high school sweetheart. We've been together a little over 5 years. I don't have any children because I plan on furthering my education and I strongly believe my husband and I are not ready for children on any level. I do however have a cat, her name is Snickers and she's our little love. I come from what I would call a large family, I have 3 sisters and one brother. My mother and father are both remarried. They both come from huge families, I believe they each have 11 siblings. My younger sister is the mother of two beautiful boys who are my pride and joy. My sister in law has two kids a beautiful 9 year old boy and 1 year old girl. In my opinion my husband and I both come from pretty dysfunctional families and I think that in a way it has made us stronger.

I enjoy baking, reading, writing, listening to music, playing with my nephews, I love to hang out outdoors, I wish I had a yard so I could plant a little vegetable garden, I don't like the water because I cannot swim, I don't think I could live with out the internet, and of course my husband.

I plan on returning to school in January of 2008. I think I want to major in Business administration with an emphasis in marketing. Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you I change my mind as often as I change my socks. I just love so many things and I wish I truly knew what my passion is.

As far as Immigration goes. I came here EWI in 1989 when I was 4 years old. I married my husband in August of 2004. I sent out my I-130 in September of 2005. I had my appointment in Juarez on June 13th and my info pass on June 14th of 2007. Thanks to the pilot program I was approved and got to come home the same day. I'm very excited about the opportunities now available to me. I can finally be normal and have a drivers license and work at a job with out being scared. I'm most excited about returning to school. I plan on taking my Citizenship exam as soon as I can. Once I am a citizen than this will truly be over. I don't know much about the process but will gladly share anything I do know, so please don't hesitate to ask.

Candy
I was wondering how you started the pilot program. I am 27 and have been married 5 years. My husband came EWI seven years ago. We have had our 130 paper work for years but we were too scared to move ahead because we were told there is nothing we could do but wait or go to Mexico. I am expecting our second child and could not imagine my husband being gone for up to a year. Plus he could be denied. I have felt a lawyer is the best approach but from reading posts it seem like this process cost thousands of dollars. I am working part time and going to school part time. My husbands income is twice mine so if he leaves it would be financially impossible.

Can you give me advice. What is my next step since we have the I-130? Thank you for your time.
