Hi all! Since we have this Fancy little "Introduce Yourself" area I must post on it. Since I have the most post why not add to it right?
Anywayz - My husband is from MX we met in Dec 02, started dating Jan 03 and married in Oct 06. We live in Seattle, Fantastic place, and have just started our way into the mix of getting his visa.
About me - I am 26 have some college under my belt (still working on getting that dang degree. I have no patience for school). I work full time in travel. WHAT FUN! I have no kids, but plan on some soon. I have a large family too. 3 sisters and 5 brothers and soon to be 3 nephews. I love this site. I post all I can. Mostly I try to help out others with what I know or talk and make new friends. At times I feel like it's an obsession, but after I think about it....How can you avoid talking to such a supportive family?
The Hubby - Came to the US in 99 to help support his daughter, 9, and son, 7. After a few months the mother of the kids got hitched (Lucky for me) and he decided to stay. He is 32 and has some college on his side to. To bad once in the US he could not continue that education, but come the visa he will. Works hard and cares a lot about his family.\
Anyways that is us. Nice to meet all of you. (And yes I like the show Prison Break - Hence the avatar):D

Hello,
I am 45 and have lived in WV most of my life. I come from a HUGE family...7 sisters and 3 brothers. Unfortunatly 1 sister, 1 brother and my father is deceased. I have 4 grown kids..3 girls and 1 boy and I have 8 grandkids and 1 on the way in November. I had a very hard life but I won't go into that... a few of you know my story. I have been married 3 times (once again the story issue ) but I know that the third time is a charm in this case :) My hubby has treated me better than anyone ever has and he loves the kids and grandkids dearly. He has been around since the oldest grandson was 4. My kids call him dad and the grandkids call him papaw. Everyone that is around us tells me they know he loves me by the way he looks at me and treats me. I am so happy that he found me because I had stopped looking and caring if I ever found someone. He was very patient with me and we started out as friends but after awhile I couldn't resit him :bounce:
My hubby is from Leon GTO and he has 2 older sisters and 5 younger brothers. His Mom and dad are not together but not divorced.
I adore them all..(even though they have made me sad a few times :( ) My hubby is younger than me but he acts so mature. He takes care of his Mom as she is ill and I admire that in him. He is silly and caring and I think the most handsome man in the world!!!
Thanks to all of you we are now able to live our life together here in the US and we are doing good. We have dreams of course..to buy a house and for me not to have to work anymore ( he says I have worked to hard and have had to deal with kids on my own so now it is time for someone to take care of me...ahhhh..God I love him) and he wants to go to Universal Studios and Hawaii..maybe next year..at least one of them :)
Right now we are trying to work and get out of debt..thanks immigration!!! We also want to move out this house we rent..it is old and has tons of problems that the landlord won't come fix. We were hoping to be moved by this month but the bills got in the way...maybe next month. He has found another job in a steel plant and we are going to wait and see how the pay ends up being before making a deceision of moving out of state.
Even though he is home I hope you guys will let me stick around..hopefully I can answer other's questions and help out in some small way. I have found a wonderful family here and don't want to loose you guys.

Cool! I have been in Seattle most of my life. I just filed my Hubbys I-130 last month so we are at the beginning. When did you file your waiver? How do you like Seattle? Little cold today, but much needed with the hote weather we were having.

Have been in Seattle for about 8 years. Came here from California looking for a change. Met my wife here in Seattle and I love it ever since.
Our waiver was submitted in Sept of 06. So, HOPEFULLY, i'm nearing the end of this stressful journey!!
Yeah it was a little cloudy today. It sure hasn't felt like summer this year. Except for those 2 weeks in July. AGGGGH

Currently he is in the US, but he will be leaving and his mother lives in the Edo. De Mexico. Makes me a little sad to think he will be leaving :shy:, but it's for a better life right? That is what he came here for and if it takes him going home then we will do it.
