HELLO TO ALL...
I just went to a interview an RIO last Feb/22 for a CR1 and everything was looking fine, my hasbund was with me, but at the end she said that i need a waiver under section 212(a)(9)(B)(i)(II)...ilegal presence for more then 1 year...i was preparing myself for this...but like always we was expectiing a miracle, anw... they gave me a 601 form, ds-230, questionaire, and other pappers...but the schedule another interview in 2 weeks....im afraid about this interview...i know that i have to give them the package , but why to be interviewd again???
my husband explain the consul that he can not be here at the next interview and she said its fine...im scared...i dont understand why they need to interview again?? its confusing, im scared ...its about my CR1 again??? 90
Any body from brazil here who can answer me about this interview...thats any special thing that i need to be aware?
its normal?? or they may wanna talk to me about my marriage again??
the consul never ask for pictures or anything else , she only ask normal questions, but at the end she said un fortunatly she can gave me the visa because i need a waiver first...
Also my passport is expiring in july, i like to know if they will stay with my passport or not....if they send the passport to lima too...or i will have time to renew my passport and after the waiver approved i can take the new one???
and regarding the fees....thats a 545,00 fee that i have to pay there, but theres other $90 fee for 601 form...i dont know whre should i pay this?? or should i bring in cash with me to RIO ..or send to them...i could find any address....
i really appreciated if anybody can give me any info...
