Ok my sons school called yesterday morning, saying that my son was coughing and dizzy and all stuffed up and that the nurse was not in to check him, so if I could pick him up, so of course I go and pick him up and by the time we got home he started feeling better and never had a temp. So I waited a couple hours just to make sure and he felt normal so I called the school concerned that there was something in the air, because I was told by my son that there were a bunch of other kids in the office with the same symptoms, the school said that nothing was used different at the school and did not know why my son and others reacted that way. Then later the nurse calls me and asks if my son has asthma or has ever had symptoms, I told her no, and if asthma runs in our family, on his dads side it does. Then I told her he was not in gym or recess at the time they were reading and other kids had it too. So we never figured it out, and so I sent him back to school today to see if he gets another reaction, then I will not be just cocerned.

Jenni, I hope it wasn;t anything serious!
How strange that the school seemed so casual about it if there was more than one student reacting... Maybe one of the kids had something strange that they were "playing" with, maybe some pepper spray or something?

Yea thats why I thought right away that it was somthing in the air, not that he was sick.

It does sound like it could have been an allergic reaction....the description matches. But, it can be really tough to pinpoint what it was.
