Hey everyone. I have a question. On the G-325A, there is a question that says:

This form is submitted in connection with . . . and there are 3 options. What did you put down?

We are submitting the G-325A along with the I-130 which is required. However, what should I put? Here are the 3 options:

Naturalization
Status as Permanent Resident

Thanks for your help.

Djones - on ours - the lawyer that perpared it checked "other" and then just wrote I-130 on the line.

I hope that helps!!!

Thank you. That is what I thought but in filling out these forms you are so scared to make a mistake that you can't think straight sometimes.

You're very welcome.

I completely understand. We started this process without knowing about this forum - so in that sense - I am thankful that we had an attorney fill out the forms rather than try to do them on my own.

Now, on the other hand - I would be totally confident without one - just from all the support/information you can find here.

The G-325A is submitted in support of the Petition, in this case the I-130 Petition for Alien Relative. So, yes, you check other and put I-130 or I-130 Petition for Alien Relative.

I have another question on the I-130. If you do not know the exact date that you entered (EWI), what would you put down when it asks for month, date, year? Do you think it is okay just to put down the month and year. We don't want to estimate the exact date but cannot remember. We know it was towards end of month but not sure of exact date.

Hi there,

I saw this question on one of Laurel Scott's recent chats. I think it may have been last week's if you want to have a look at the thread for her chats. She bascially said to just estimate as best you can - that it's very common not to have an exact date. Just be sure that you are consistent on all the paperwork from on out so you don't have any explaining to do later.

Our lawyer advised us of the same thing that wanaads mentioned. We did not know the EXACT date that my husband EWI - so we simply put the month/year - of which we were exact on.
