Although this is my first post, I've been to this site too many times to count. I know you guys don't know me, but I feel like I know you. Okay, sounds creepy, but I promise I'm not. You have all helped me through this time in my life and I owe you all thanks. Just by reading all of the post since Nov. 06 I've learned so many things. Nobody understands here understands what I'm going through without my husband, but when I come to this site I feel like I'm at home. My husband's first interview was Oct. 06 that was the last time I saw him until last night. I read a post a couple of weeks back about internet in Mexico. I called him and told him to go find a place in the city that offers internet with webcams. I went and got a webcam too, and last night we saw each other for the first time. I can't believe we didn't think of this before, but we are both kind of new to the whole computer thing. It was so good to see him. My little girl was so excited, she just keep saying daddy I love you over and over again. It only cost him a dollar an hour. :D Anyway I wanted to finally post and say hello and thanks for being here for me.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am hoping that we're almost finished with this long, long, long, (did I say long) process. I've done my share of balling my eyes out, but now I know I'm on that home stretch. Between work, three kids, and of course, imm2us I try to stay as sane as can be expected.(of course my children probably think other wise) My husband and I got married in Mar.02 and our first appt. to CDJ was Oct 06, submitted the wavier on Oct 20 and don't know when it was entered in DHS. He lives in Xalapa, Veracruz and he is missed so much. It was truly a blessing to see him on webcam, hopefully every Monday until he comes home. Will someone put me the timeline for I-601? Bare with me on this posting thing, it'll take a little while to get the hang of things. Also I don't know how much I can help everyone, but I'm here if you need a friend.

Hi dlanda, I think it's so sos so great that you got to use webcams to talk to your husband after not seeing him for so long! I almost cried when I saw that :)
My husband and I talk on webcams maybe once a month or something, and it's just soooooo good to see his face. OK, should go before I turn into a mushball! Welcome!!
